Observing World Students Day on Kalam’s Birthday

The Oxford School observed World Students’ Day which falls on the birthday of former President of India Sri. A P J Abdul Kalam on October 15. For this, a special assembly was presented by Grade 1A & 1B, which gave a special tribute to the ‘Missile Man of India’.

It was a sincere effort by the students to give a deep insight into the life and
thoughts of Dr. Abdul Kalam and encourage others to think about his vision related to education and love towards humanity. The assembly began with a tribute to Dr. Kalam with quotes and speech and a boy from Grade 1B dressed up like him. The HRT of Grade 1A gave a brief talk about the
childhood life of him and told the children to follow his path, respect our elders, loving every one. The assembly was finally concluded with a beautiful song by the students of Grade 1B.
